Work-mode: Hybrid (4 days remote, 1 day on-site)

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus

Salary: up to €4,500 gross per month (negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications)

The Senior DevOps Engineer will play a key role in designing, building, and maintaining scalable, secure, and highly available infrastructure. This is a hands-on senior position, ideal for an experienced DevOps professional who enjoys ownership, automation, and continuous improvement.


Working closely with Development and QA teams, you will lead the evolution of CI/CD pipelines, container orchestration, and infrastructure reliability while contributing to architectural decisions and operational excellence.


Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to support rapid and reliable software delivery
  • Automate build, test, and deployment workflows across development, staging, and production environments
  • Deploy, manage, and scale containerised applications using Kubernetes
  • Maintain and improve deployment strategies, including blue-green, rolling updates, and canary releases
  • Architect, manage, and support cloud-based and on-premise infrastructure
  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security; lead incident response and resolution
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to improve deployment reliability and developer experience
  • Implement DevOps security best practices across pipelines and infrastructure
  • Evaluate, recommend, and introduce new tools, technologies, and DevOps practices
  • Maintain clear and comprehensive documentation for infrastructure, pipelines, and operational procedures


Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years’ experience in a DevOps or similar role
  • Strong hands-on experience with CI/CD tools and pipeline design
  • Advanced knowledge of containerisation and orchestration, particularly Kubernetes
  • Strong understanding of cloud and private cloud environments
  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix-based systems
  • Solid experience with infrastructure automation and monitoring
  • Strong understanding of networking, security principles, and system reliability
  • Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to lead and take ownership
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience
