The successful candidate will be involved in high-value transactions and regulatory matters, collaborating closely with multidisciplinary teams and advising blue-chip organisations, institutional clients, and high-net-worth individuals.
Key Responsibilities
- Advise clients on complex corporate, commercial, and regulatory matters under Cyprus and EU law
- Participate in high-value M&A, corporate structuring, banking & finance, and financial services matters
- Handle demanding, time-sensitive transactions with cross-border elements
- Liaise with regulators, institutional stakeholders, corporate entities, and international clients
- Provide commercially focused legal advice aligned with clients’ strategic objectives
- Draft, review, and negotiate sophisticated transaction documentation
- Adopt a proactive, solutions-driven approach to client challenges
- Contribute to business development initiatives and the continued growth of the practice
- Support and mentor junior team members, fostering a culture of excellence and knowledge-sharing
Requirements
- Law Degree (LLB or equivalent)
- Admission to the Cyprus Bar Association
- Proven experience in Corporate & Commercial law and/or related fields (M&A, Banking & Finance, Financial Services & Regulation)
- Strong understanding of cross-border transactions and international corporate structures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (additional languages considered an advantage)
- Strong drafting and analytical skills
- Ability to manage demanding workloads within a fast-paced, high-performance environment
- Strong interpersonal skills, discretion, and professional integrity
