Responsibilities

  • Conduct audit engagements for a diverse portfolio of clients across various industries, ensuring compliance with International Standards on Auditing (ISA) and local regulations
  • Prepare and review financial statements in accordance with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS)
  • Perform analytical reviews, risk assessments, and internal control evaluations during audit planning and execution
  • Identify potential audit issues or irregularities and propose practical recommendations for improvement
  • Collaborate with team members to meet deadlines and ensure high-quality deliverables
  • Communicate effectively with clients to obtain necessary information and ensure a clear understanding of audit requirements
  • Support senior auditors and management in the preparation of audit reports and other financial documents
  • Maintain professional knowledge through ongoing learning and staying informed of changes in accounting and auditing standards


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in external audit (experience in an audit firm will be considered an advantage)
  • Good knowledge of IFRS and ISA standards
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel and Word
  • Knowledge of CaseWare or similar audit software will be considered an advantage
  • Excellent command of the English language (both written and verbal); knowledge of Greek will be considered an advantage
  • Strong analytical, organisational, and communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Professional, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines
  • Studying toward ACCA or ACA qualification will be considered an asset
