Job Title: Accountant (Junior of Experienced)

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: On-site

Location: Larnaca, Cyprus

Salary: Negotiable, depending on experience and qualifications

Working Hours: Monday to Friday from 8am to 4pm


Our client is a well-established professional services firm based in Larnaca, Cyprus, providing accounting, bookkeeping, and advisory services to a diverse portfolio of local and international clients. We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to join the firm’s growing team in Larnaca. The successful candidate will be responsible for handling day-to-day accounting and bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of clients, ensuring accurate records, timely VAT preparation, and effective client communication.


This role is ideal for someone looking to develop their accounting career within a stable and supportive professional environment.


Responsibilities

  • Handle bookkeeping and accounting for a portfolio of clients
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date accounting records using accounting software
  • Prepare and reconcile VAT returns in line with regulatory requirements
  • Communicate directly with clients regarding accounting matters
  • Perform general administrative duties related to accounting and bookkeeping work
  • Collaborate with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of services


Requirements

  • Good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • Good command of Greek and English, both written and verbal
  • Strong organisational and communication skills
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Willingness to learn, develop, and take on responsibility
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Proactive, reliable, and professional approach to work
