Speech and Language Therapist

Contract: Full-time, Permanent

Work-mode: On-site

Location: Dubai, UAE (Work Permit will be provided if needed)

Salary: Up to 20,000AED per month (tax-free, depending on experience)


Responsibilities

  • Provide assessment, diagnosis, and evidence-based intervention for children with speech, language, and communication needs
  • Develop and implement individualised therapy plans tailored to each child’s developmental profile and family goals
  • Prepare detailed assessment and progress reports in line with clinical and regulatory standards
  • Collaborate with families, caregivers, teachers, and multi-disciplinary colleagues to support therapy outcomes
  • Apply a range of therapeutic approaches, including but not limited to Makaton, PECS®, PROMPT©, SCERTS®, and TEACCH® (where relevant)
  • Participate in clinical supervision, training, and professional development opportunities to continuously enhance practice
  • Contribute to case discussions, team meetings, and service development initiatives
  • Maintain accurate clinical records in line with professional and organisational requirements


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology/Therapy
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in paediatric practice with a stamped reference from a previous employer
  • Licensed with (or eligible for) Dubai Health Authority (DHA)
  • Valid UAE driving license and access to a car
  • Proficient in writing professional assessment and progress reports
  • Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  • Experience with Makaton, PECS®, PROMPT©, SCERTS®, or TEACCH® approaches is desirable
