Director of Advancement

Location: Remote with some travel

Heaven’s Family, a Christian nonprofit dedicated to advancing the kingdom by serving the poor and equipping the church worldwide, is seeking a Director of Advancement to design and scale donor development systems that will support their vision of growing from a $3M to $10M organization over the next decade.

The right candidate will be both strategic and hands-on: a builder who can create robust fundraising structures, implement scalable processes, and cultivate a healthy pipeline of donor relationships to fuel long-term growth.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement advancement strategies, systems, and processes to support 3x organizational growth.
• Build and oversee donor engagement systems that strengthen relationships with individuals, churches, and foundations.
• Lead major gifts strategy while equipping staff and volunteers in donor development best practices.
• Partner with the executive team to align advancement efforts with organizational vision and priorities.
• Provide clear metrics, reporting, and accountability to ensure progress toward growth goals.



Qualifications:

• Proven track record in nonprofit fundraising, donor development, or advancement leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to design and scale fundraising systems and strategies.
• Strong relational and communication skills with experience cultivating major donors.
• Strategic thinker who can execute with operational excellence.
• Committed Christian with alignment to Heaven’s Family’s mission and values.
