Position Description

The goal of the Pastor of Corporate Worship is to make disciples of Jesus Christ who worship Christ in all of life, live in community with other disciples, and live on mission to make more disciples. This will primarily be accomplished by overseeing and leading the corporate worship ministry of Harmony Bible Church.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • A commitment to personal growth and development
  • Work with campus worship leaders to schedule monthly setlists and volunteers
  • Oversee the maintaining of equipment as well as keeping neat and clean stages, green rooms, and relevant storage spaces
  • Visit Burlington and Fort Madison Campuses bi-monthly to observe worship team practices and morning services
  • Recruit, train, and develop music team volunteers
  • Provide direction and resources for volunteers in and around weekly rehearsals
  • Coach volunteers to help them grow in skill and knowledge
  • Plan formal volunteer appreciation and development gatherings
  • Assist worship leaders, production directors, and campus pastors with volunteer recruitment, communication, care, and shepherding
  • Regularly lead worship at the Danville Campus
  • Plan and participate in regular sessions of writing and producing original songs
  • Regularly work at rearranging and reimagining current or older non-original songs
