Position Description

The Worship Pastor at Flatland Church will lead the Worship and Production Department of the church. This includes creating inspirational worship environments at services and special events. They will provide pastoral care to the worship team and create on ramps for new team members to get plugged in. This leader will be a champion of the vision and core values of Flatland Church.

Key Responsibilities:

• The Worship Pastor will lead the five Worship departments: Development, Worship Teams, Worship Band, Creative
• Arts, and Tech.
• This leader will recruit, develop, and coach Overseers to lead these departments.
• The Worship Pastor will set annual goals for the worship ministry that are in line with the vision and then evaluate how those goals were attained or modified during the year.
• This leader will work with Overseers and Team Leaders to develop and maintain effective policies and procedures for the Worship Function.
• The Worship Pastor will provide training opportunities for various Worship Function leaders.
• They will be the primary worship leader for weekend services and special events.
