City + Capital are currently representing a highly respected property finance lender who are looking for a well organised, proactive and experienced Office Manager to join their executive business management team at an exciting time of continued growth.  


The Company  


Our client is one of the UK’s fastest growing and most respected property finance lenders who have doubled the size of their UK operation consistently for the last 7 years. This growth has been driven by outstanding investment and funding, as well as ambitions to be the leading player in their space.  


Due to this, they have expanded at an incredible rate with their headcount now moving close to the 200 mark. The result of this has seen our client open X3 fantastic offices in Central London which now houses the company's departments in key work groups.   


As a result, they are seeking a highly efficient and professional individual to join as Office Manager for their flagship HQ office in Mayfair. You will join the executive management team where you will work alongside the firm's other office managers, EA/PAs & Team Assistants to drive operational excellence and success.  

 

Role Overview  

 

As Office Manager for our client’s flagship HQ you will be integral in ensuring that the office is always maintained and improved as well as ensuring the day-to-day running of the office is optimised for best results.  

 

This will include liaising with senior management and their teams on their long- and short-term requirements. This may involve aspects such as improving or reorganising office spaces, amending setups and identifying improvements, ensuring the office is well stocked with supplies, etc...  

 

Day-to-day you will ensure the smooth running of the office space and teams within. You will work proactively but will be happy to react to needs as they arise and deliver on them. You will be a key point of contact for the company's clients and guests that visit the office, ensuring they are well looked after and managed for the teams. 

 

Within the role you will collaborate closely with your teammates in the executive management office. This will mean support from the Team Assistant’s and PAs on important projects, as well as working closely with the Chief of Staff and EAs on board related requirements.  

 

You will be integral to the successful running of our client's flagship HQ.   

 

Responsibilities 

 

  • Oversee the property asset and drive required maintenance and improvements  
  • Overall responsibility for the long term and day-to-day performance of the office  
  • Liaise with senior management & their teams on requirements  
  • Manage the meeting office and shared spaces for optimum performance  
  • Act as the key point of contact for clients, guests and visitors 
  • Ensure the office is well stocked with all requirements of the teams  
  • Manage the company inbox and phone line providing in house support   
  • Proactively resolve any potential conflicts  
  • Provide comprehensive administrative support to office management   

 

Candidate Requirements  

 

The ideal individual for the Office Manager position will be a polished professional who thrives in a dynamic, growing & fast paced environment, and someone who understands the nuances of working with UHNW & HNW clients.  

 

Due to this, the ideal individual will naturally be very proactive in their approach, quick to spot problems or opportunities – and to engage with them. You will be an outstanding communicator in all aspects and highly organised, capable of keeping multiple plates spinning simultaneously.  

 

The role requires someone with a ‘service first’ mindset and someone who is happy to tackle the simple, as well as the complex. You will be able to work with discretion & will be a true team player, happy to collaborate on broader business projects. Clarity, confidence and attention to detail is crucial.  

 

  • A demonstrable track record of successful office management experience  
  • The ability to work in a fast growing and agile business where change comes quickly  
  • Previous experience working with UHNW/HNW individuals may be beneficial  
  • Highly organised and capable of dealing with issues swiftly  
  • Clarity of communication, adaptable across a varied internal and external base  
  • Ability to manage time efficiently and stay on top of day-to-day needs   
  • A proactive mindset, taking initiative to solve problems and improve efficiency  
  • Works collaboratively with colleagues and supports wider business positively  
  • Motivated with attention to detail and keen to grow with the firm   

 

On Offer    


Our client is ideally looking to pay between £45k-£60k as a basic salary for the ideal individual, relevant to previous track record. Higher offers could also be considered for exceptional direct experience. Salary will be complemented by access to our client’s favourable bonus scheme too, which will significantly increase annual earnings based on performance.   

   

Notably, our client continues to grow at an incredible rate and as they do, the executive management team grows in scale with it. This is worth noting as our client do operate a very strong and proven promote from within policy, which has been integral to their success to date.

Due to the day-to-day requirements to support the office, teams and guests, this role will be based in Mayfair, W1.
