Job Title: Senior Instructional Designer

Location: Deerfield Beach, FL (Hybrid / Remote OK)

Contract Duration: 1 Year

Department: Operations – Talent Management

Overview

We’re seeking a strategic and consultative Senior Instructional Designer who thrives on creating modern, behavior-focused learning experiences that deliver measurable impact. You won’t be building “check-the-box” content here—this is your chance to shape how learning drives associate development, leadership growth, and enterprise-wide effectiveness.

As a senior member of a small but mighty learning team, you’ll lead the end-to-end design and development of high-visibility, digital-first learning solutions using Design Thinking, Agile, and ADDIE methodologies. You’ll also play a critical role as a mentor and thought partner, pushing innovation in delivery formats such as microlearning, interactive infographics, QR-coded guides, and short-form video.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design modern, learner-centered experiences that include eLearning, talking-head videos, interactive PDFs, job aids, instructor-led content, and other scalable formats.
  • Consult with stakeholders to deeply understand learning needs, define behavioral outcomes, and select the right modalities (not just default to eLearning).
  • Use Agile, ADDIE, and Design Thinking principles to rapidly iterate from prototype to final product.
  • Build digital assets using tools like Articulate Storyline/Rise 360, Camtasia, Vyond, Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, and more.
  • Collaborate closely with change management, coaching, and leadership development teams to align learning with business transformation.
  • Evaluate learning effectiveness using the Kirkpatrick Model and recommend improvements based on data.
  • Maintain quality, branding, accessibility, and usability standards across all deliverables.
  • Contribute to a culture of innovation, experimentation, and excellence in the Talent Management function.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in instructional design, learning experience design, or a related field.
  • Proven experience creating digital-first, behaviorally effective learning solutions.
  • Strong portfolio that includes short-form video, microlearning, and interactive tools (mock projects welcome).
  • Mastery of tools like Articulate 360, Vyond, Camtasia, Adobe Creative Suite, and Canva.
  • Familiarity with collaboration tools such as Lucid, Miro, or Figma.
  • Strong consultative mindset—able to translate complex content into accessible learning that resonates.
  • Comfort working in fast-paced, Agile environments with multiple stakeholders and shifting priorities.
  • Experience with SharePoint or other knowledge management platforms is a plus.
  • Passionate about user experience, design innovation, and learner success.

Why Join Us

This is more than a design job. It’s an opportunity to work alongside a visionary manager and a tight-knit, high-impact team that empowers you to be bold, curious, and creative. If you’re ready to rethink what learning looks like, and build meaningful, modern solutions at scale—we want to hear from you.
