Job Title: Senior QA Engineer – Automation (.NET Applications)


Location: Remote (U.S, EST overlap required)

Contract Duration: Initial 6 months, with strong extension potential

Department: Product & Engineering – Digital Platforms

Reports To: Engineering Leadership


Overview

We are undertaking a large-scale modernization of high-volume digital commerce and transactional systems. These platforms touch everything from inventory allocation and pricing logic to payment flows, third-party marketplace integrations, and customer-facing storefronts.

To support this effort, we are seeking a Senior QA Engineer – Automation who will design and own automated testing for .NET applications. This is a hands-on role focused on building automation frameworks, driving quality into CI/CD pipelines, and ensuring reliability across complex, distributed systems.

This is an opportunity for someone who thrives on embedding quality into every stage of the software lifecycle and ensuring enterprise-grade resilience.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks for .NET applications.
  • Build, execute, and optimize UI, API, and integration test suites.
  • Collaborate with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams to define and implement testing strategies.
  • Integrate test automation into CI/CD pipelines to accelerate release cycles.
  • Conduct performance and load testing on transactional workflows (payments, reservations, syndication).
  • Track, document, and report defects, ensuring timely resolution.


Qualifications

  • 8+ years of QA experience, with a strong focus on automation.
  • Deep experience testing .NET Core/ASP.NET applications.
  • Proficiency in C# and test automation frameworks (Selenium, Playwright, Cypress, or equivalent).
  • Solid API testing experience (Postman, Swagger, etc.).
  • Hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins).
  • Strong background in Agile/Scrum environments.
  • Cloud testing experience (Azure preferred).
  • Experience with performance and load testing.


Logistics & Expectations

  • Location: Remote; U.S.
  • Schedule: Full-time contractor role with immediate onboarding.
  • Duration: 6 months initial contract with strong likelihood of extension post-launch.
  • Interview Process: Multi-step process including technical evaluation and leadership interview.
