OpenNova is partnering with a healthcare platform company in their search for a Data Engineer. In this role you will be responsible for developing and maintaining data pipelines, enhancing data processes, and investigating and troubleshooting data-related issues. This role requires a deep understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance standards as you will be working on the core administration platform.


What you will be responsible for  


  • Develop, optimize, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL processes to support ongoing data analysis and reporting needs. 
  • Investigate and troubleshoot data issues, ensuring data integrity and performance. 
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define data requirements and implement solutions. 
  • Work with the TriZetto Facets product suite, including QicLink, to manage healthcare data. 
  • Utilize Snowflake for data warehousing and MicroStrategy for business intelligence and reporting. 
  • Develop and deploy solutions on AWS, leveraging AWS Lambda for serverless computing. 
  • Write and maintain clean, efficient, and reusable code in Python, R, and SQL. 
  • Implement data streaming solutions using Kafka and integrate various APIs. 

 

Skills and experience that will make you successful in this role 

 

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field. 
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Data Engineer, with significant experience in the healthcare industry. 
  • Strong understanding of healthcare industry regulations and compliance requirements. 
  • Must have experience working with TriZetto Facets product suite, including hands-on experience with QicLink. 
  • Building data pipelines using SQL, R, Python Kafka, and other technologies. 
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.

This is a 6 to 12 month contract to hire opportunity. Our client supports a flexible work model as this is a fully remote opportunity with work hour expectations being Central Time zone to align with team members in dispersed time zones. 

 

The hourly pay rate for this role is $65/hr to $75/hr. Individual pay rates are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Our client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
