OpenNova is partnering with a client who is in search of a Product Manager to join their consumer product team. In this role you will be responsible for overseeing the development and management of traditional and advanced analytics solutions that drive consumer insights. This involves strategic planning, competitive research, and product vision setting to deliver data-driven solutions that enhance consumer experiences and optimize product offerings. You will play a critical role in understanding consumer attributes, consumer behavior, buying propensity, and defining analytics and insights based on personas while collaborating with cross-functional teams, including data analysts, marketing, technology, and user experience experts, to extract meaningful insights from data and translate them into actionable strategies.  

  

What you will be responsible for   

 

Product Ownership and Strategy  

  • Define and communicate the product vision and strategy for consumer analytics, ensuring alignment with the company's goals and market needs.  
  • Manage the product backlog, prioritizing features and enhancements based on value, complexity, and stakeholder input.  
  • Develop detailed product requirements and acceptance criteria, working closely with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure feasibility and adherence to data governance standards.  
  • Serve as a liaison between business stakeholders, data management, and technical teams, facilitating collaboration and consensus on product direction and priorities.  

Consumer Profiling and Segmentation  

  • Continuously assess market trends, competitor offerings, and customer feedback to inform product enhancements and new opportunities.  
  • Analyze consumer data to create detailed persona profiles and segments.  
  • Understand consumer demographics, preferences, and behaviors.  
  • Identify and design consumer/customer attributes. 
  • Identify patterns and trends that impact purchasing decisions.  

Market Sizing and Share Analysis  

  • Monitor competitive landscape and identify growth opportunities.  
  • Provide insights on market dynamics and potential gaps.  

User Experience Enhancement  

  • Collaborate with user experience (UX) teams to improve consumer journeys.  
  • Use data to optimize touch points, such as website interactions, mobile apps, and user experiences.  
  • Propose enhancements to enhance overall satisfaction.  

Cross-Sell and Upsell Strategies  

  • Develop strategies to cross-sell and upsell products and services.  
  • Leverage data to identify complementary offerings for existing consumers.  
  • Work closely with sales, product development, and marketing teams to execute these strategies.  

Collaboration and Leadership  

  • Lead ad hoc studies and projects related to consumer analytics.  
  • Collaborate with data analysts, data scientists, and business leaders.  
  • Drive data-driven decision-making across the organization.  

  

Skills and experience that will make you successful in this role  

  

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Economics, Mathematics, Business, Marketing, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fields.  
  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in Product Management, Product Ownership, Product Marketing, Digital Product Management or related domains.  
  • Ability to identify and define specific consumer attributes and behavior insights. 
  • Analyzing consumer behavior data and creating actionable insights with the data.  
  • Must have experience building and creating consumer/customer personas. 
  • Proven experience with delivering personalized consumer products and solutions.  
  • Experience delivering B2B and B2C products.  
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and communicate consumer engagement strategies with measurable KPIs.

  • Certifications: ACPMPO, CSPO, MPM, CAPO, APO, CPO  

  

This is a contract to hire opportunity where our client has full intention to convert to full-time. Our client supports a flexible work model where this position would require 3 days a week onsite at their Fort Lauderdale, FL office location. Our client will consider candidates who are willing to relocate.  

  

The hourly pay rate range for this role is $70 - $85 an hour on W2. Salary upon conversion will be in the rage of $150,000 - $180,000 (plus bonus). Individual pay rates are based on various factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons. Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Our client is unable to sponsor or take over sponsorship of an employment visa at this time.
