We supply low cost components used by manufacturing companies in their manufacturing process. Our primary target is B2B Manufacturers i.e. companies who build products used by other manufacturing companies.


We are hiring a full-time Warehouse Associate for our location in Alberta. The Warehouse associate is responsible for: engaging in inbound and outbound freight transactions; shipping/receiving activities, basic inventory management including cycle counts. The ideal candidate is reliable, customer-focused, works quickly and accurately and has a positive attitude. The standard work hours for this position are 8:00 - 5:00.


Responsibilities

·       Picking and packing customer orders

·       Operate a small reach truck and pallet jack to perform shipping and receiving job duties

·       Perform daily cycle counts of inventory to maximize inventory accuracy

·       Receive and put away inventory in bin locations

·       Lift up to 50 pounds on a regular basis

·       Use computer inventory management program to document all inventory transactions, shipping receiving and material inquiries

·       Route and ship outgoing product quickly with minimal to zero inaccuracies using a variety of couriers and transport methods

·       Perform daily and weekly “housekeeping” activities (dispose of trash and maintain supplies)

·       Interaction with customers when required, in person and via telephone and email

·       Report Health & Safety data via company platform and participate in Health & Safety initiatives

·       Perform safety audits on equipment

·       Comply with all company policies & procedures

·       Other duties as required


Skills and Experience:

·       Strong communication and teamwork skills

·       At least 1 year of previous warehouse experience is preferred.

·       Experience with reach truck and pallet jack strongly preferred.

·       Ability to multi-task

·       Basic computer knowledge including Microsoft office

·       Attention to detail – working with numbers and strong math skills

·       Self starter – ability to work unsupervised

·       Problem solving

·       Must have own transportation – no public transit
