Associate Data Engineer, Bratislava - 6 month Fixed Term Contract
The Associate Data Engineer role is an entry level role to the ERP Data team and is primarily responsible for ensuring that the data held in both ERP systems, BPCS & Microsoft D365 F&O, is aligned, particularly in relation to the ordering process.
The role involves carrying out a number of administrative duties while increasing knowledge of the Essentra ERP Systems and taking on new tasks. Training will be provided on a specific task which the Associate Data Engineer will become responsible for and will train their colleagues on this task and receive training from their colleagues on their tasks in return.
Amendments to orders in one system are not automatically reflected in the other and, via automated processes or manual intervention, these changes need to be actioned on a daily basis to ensure the integrity of the ordering process.
A pro-active approach should always be maintained and the ability to identify possible Master Data issues and rectify them is expected, both on a record by record basis and on a wider scope.
It is necessary to establish exceptional working standards at all times and maintain a keen attention to detail, such that all activities are consistently completed to the highest of standards. To achieve these desired outcomes it will be necessary to collaborate extensively with other departments including, but not limited to, Planning, Sourcing, Product Management and Quality.
Forging strong links with operational & commercial teams is crucial to ensure that robust information flow is in place around the key business activities.
