Essentra is immediately hiring for a Material Mixer and Handler on 3rd shift (10pm - 630am) located in the Erie, PA area to join our production team. As a Material Mixer and Handler you will be responsible for maximizing machine usage/efficiency by keeping machine hoppers full of the correct material/color.

- $200.00 to be paid at first pay period after hire
- $300.00 to be paid after 45 days of employment
- $500.00 to be paid after 90 days of employment

What you will do:
- Keep accurate account of all the materials distributed from inventory
- Perform cycle counts
- Mix material in accordance to guidelines
- Keep barrel stations full, have empty barrels on hand
- Accurately weigh material, label containers, and enter into inventory
- Keep drying ovens and drying barrels full
- Load and unload trailers
- Maintain inventory of supplies
- Clean hoppers, lines, and filters
- Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
What we look for:
Required:
- Familiar with the different grades of material and the effects of polymer flow
- Strong math skills
- Basic computer skills
- Forklift license/experience
- Work safely in a fast-paced environment
- Must be able to read and write in English
- Previous material handling or related experience at another plastic company preferred
- HS Diploma or GED
- Ability to work 10pm - 630pm, Sunday through Thursday
