We are seeking a skilled and dependable 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a variety of equipment, machinery, and facility systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operations. This position requires a strong mechanical and electrical aptitude, the ability to diagnose and resolve issues quickly, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
The ideal candidate will have experience with industrial equipment, a working knowledge of maintenance best practices, and the flexibility to support production needs. This is a hands-on role that plays a vital part in minimizing downtime, improving equipment performance, and contributing to the overall success of our operations.
Responsibilities
- Trouble shoot, repair, replace and adjust existing equipment.
- Build, install and maintain new equipment.
- Advise on parts stock inventory.
- Conduct PM checks and repairs.
- Perform building maintenance.
- Perform inspections.
- Utilize Mattec system.
- Document work orders.
- Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business.
- Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment.

Skills and Experience
- Basic technical/mechanical aptitude.
- Basic knowledge of maintenance such as, plumbing, mechanics, etc. preferred.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals.
- Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
- Basic math and computer skills.
- Must have current, valid driver’s license.
- Must provide own tools.
- Work safely in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to read and write in English.
Education and Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent with three to six months related experience and/or training OR one-year certificate from college or technical school.
- Certification in hydraulics and electricity preferred.
