Essentra is immediately hiring for a 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm) Machine Operator located in the Erie, PA area to join our production team. As a Machine Operator you will be responsible for packaging finished molded products while monitoring product quality.

What you will do:

• Perform cavitation checks/functional gaging as required
• Assemble product cartons (packaging)
• Place molded parts onto inspection table, inspect for quality (sort when necessary)
• Fill cartons with quality product. Seal and label per work instructions
• Place cartons on pallet, label pallet, and move full pallet to staging
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business
• Maintain a clean, organized and safe work environment

• Basic math and computer skills
• Basic knowledge of equipment/tools and how they are used
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Must be able to read and write in English
• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to work 1st Shift (6:00 am - 2:30 pm)
