The focus of this role is to strengthen and expand relationships with existing customers and convert prospects into new customers.

Responsibilities:

• Issuing and following up on quotations in accordance with the requirements set by the organization.
• Maintaining and expanding contacts with customers and prospects, in such a way that this leads to optimal customer relationships and their further development
• Stimulating and developing sales within the assigned markets and products, resulting in maximum revenue and performance levels
• Providing accurate and timely information to customers and prospects
• Timely reporting of relevant customer information and communicating this to the Field Sales Manager, enabling appropriate strategic and operational decision-making
• Planning customer and prospect visits for the Field Sales Manager
• Correct handling and timely resolution of complaints in accordance with organizational requirements, resulting in desired customer satisfaction
• Ensure product information is continuously maintained so that it is always up to date
• Ensure compliance with obligations arising from the Working Conditions within their area of responsibility
• May, when necessary, be assigned other tasks by management that can reasonably be expected of the employee in terms of nature and scope
• Ensure order and cleanliness within the department and at their own workplace

Required Skills & Experience:

• Secondary vocational education (MBO-level) working and thinking level
• Completed vocational (MBO-level) education in a commercial and/or marketing field
• Knowledge of Windows-based software applications
• Good command of both Dutch and English, spoken and written
• Knowledge of French and German is an advantage
• Affinity with manufacturing

This role is based on a 32 hour, 4 day working week. Hybrid working, 2 days per week based in our office in Valkenswaard.
