Essentra Components is hiring Warehouse Associates to join our team in Louisville, KY. We currently have two full-time openings on 1st shift, each with a slightly different operational focus. If you have prior warehouse and forklift/cherry picker experience and are looking for a stable and rewarding career — we want to hear from you!

Available Shifts & Focus Areas:

• 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Inventory & Cycle Counting Focus
• Ideal for candidates experienced in inventory control, auditing, and working on a cherry picker.
• 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Shipping & Picking Focus
• Best suited for candidates with experience in order fulfillment, packing, and shipping processes.

Important:

• Applicants must have at least 1 year of warehouse experience

Key Responsibilities by Shift:

6:00 AM – 2:30 PM | Inventory Focus:

• Use a 24-foot cherry picker to complete cycle counts, inventory checks, and audit tasks
• Support inventory control and maintain stock accuracy
• Cross-train in receiving, barcoding, and related functions
• Uphold all safety procedures in elevated work

8:00 AM – 4:30 PM | Shipping Focus:

• Pick and pack orders accurately for shipment
• Use shipping software and apply correct packing slips and labels
• Maintain organization in staging and shipping areas
• Cross-train in wrapping, restacking, and other warehouse duties

What We’re Looking For:

Required:

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience
• Forklift and/or cherry picker experience
• Comfortable working 24 feet in the air (for inventory shift)
• Able to lift and move boxes up to 30 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Reliable work history and team-oriented mindset
• Basic computer literacy
• Good communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience using BPCS warehouse software
