Essentra Components is immediately hiring for an Injection Mold Setup Technician for 1st and 2nd shifts located in the Erie, PA area to join our team. An Injection Mold Setup Technician is responsible for assisting the Process Technicians in their daily workload.

Wages starting at $18.00/hour + Shift Differential for 2nd shift

• $500.00 to be paid at first pay period after hire.
• $500.00 to be paid after 45 days of employment.
• $1,000.00 to be paid after 90 days of employment.

What you will do:

• Remove and install molds and auxiliary equipment according to production requirements
• Complete daily process/set-up checklist
• Clean molds and return to tool room
• Clear press and workstation of parts, scrap, and material
• Operate a forklift, powered pallet jack and crane
• Submit last shot to quality

What we look for:

• Required
• Willing and able to work 1st shift (6am - 230pm) or 2nd shift (2pm - 1030pm)
• Must have forklift, powered pallet jack, and crane experience
• Very good mechanical aptitude
• Ability to work overtime as needed based on the needs of the business
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Must provide own tools
• Work safely in a fast-paced environment
• Must be a team player
• Must have good time management skills
• Must be able to work independently with limited supervision
• Must have good verbal and written communication skills

• Preferred
• Prior plastics/injection mold setup experience is preferred
