This is a hybrid role with expectation of working in the Kidlington office 2-3 days per week


The Business Process Re-Design (BPR) Transformation Programme is responsible for the development and implementation of world-class, standardized business processes and technological solutions across the Essentra organization.


Role Specifics

This position is for the Global Process Lead to support the implementation of new policies, practices, standardized processes, and D365 technology across the entire organization, with a particular focus on finance and reporting integration for a new ERP system.


Key Responsibilities

  • Finance Integration Stakeholder: Act as a key stakeholder in the finance integration of D365, ensuring alignment with the financial objectives of the organization.
  • Stakeholder Needs Assessment: Understand the needs of stakeholders and assess any changes required to the implementation template. This includes managing expectations with a delicate balance between "must-haves" and "should-haves."
  • Template Alignment: Collaborate closely with stakeholders to determine if changes to the implementation template are necessary and facilitate any adjustments accordingly.
  • Operational Site Collaboration: Work closely with operational sites to understand the gaps between each country's needs and the standard template. Develop and execute an action plan to address these gaps, delivering results that are endorsed by key users at the sites.
  • Essentra Financial Closure Process: Obtain a strong understanding of Essentra's financial closure process, ensuring its seamless integration within the D365 system.
  • Financial Reporting Expertise: Demonstrate a good understanding of D365 financial reports, the PowerBI tool, ERP system reporting structure, account mapping, and IFRS accounting rules, ensuring these are well-integrated into the system design.


Other responsibilities

  • Support Business Process Experts (BPEs) to establish an overview of the requirements defined by the users including definition of business and technical requirements.
  • Support BPEs to ensure the solution realises the key benefits and remains aligned to the overall BPR Transformation initiatives.
  • Maintain DevOps (ADO) and ensure all activities assigned i.e. Tasks, Actions and Decisions are updated in a timely manner.
  • Provide thought leadership in the ongoing development of business processes and technology to ensure Essentra maintains best-in-class capabilities.


Required skills & experience:

  • Recognizable qualification in a relevant field
  • Good experience in financial operations and reporting processes
  • Strong interest in transforming organizational processes and championing best practices to promote global template system adoption.
  • Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience in managing complex relationships and balancing competing priorities.

  • Experience in ERP implementation (desirable)
