The Chief Information Security Officer will lead the organization’s efforts to protect digital and physical information assets. This senior-level position is responsible for establishing and maintaining the vision, strategy, and program to ensure information and technology assets are adequately protected from external and internal threats.
Responsibilities
- Develop and direct company-wide security strategies, standards, and procedures.
- Oversee the assessment and mitigation of risks related to information security.
- Lead the investigation and response to security incidents and breaches.
- Guide teams to maintain regulatory and compliance obligations related to data and system security.
- Educate staff and stakeholders on security protocols and best practices.
- Advise leadership on emerging security trends, risks, and recommendations.
Candidate Profile
- U.S. citizenship and eligibility for required security clearances.
- Advanced degree or relevant certification in information security, information technology, or a related domain preferred.
- Extensive leadership experience in information security roles.
- Demonstrated understanding of compliance requirements applicable to regulated environments.
- Ability to work on-site as required.
- Strong ethical standards, sound judgment, and a high level of discretion.
