Core Responsibilities

  • Design, build, and optimize advanced analytics tools and predictive models using techniques such as regression analysis, deep learning, and spatial analysis.
  • Apply machine learning algorithms to large-scale datasets to deliver actionable insights using R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and other data science platforms.
  • Lead statistical R&D projects that inform process improvements and organizational strategy.
  • Collaborate with government and contractor teams to implement solutions aligned with operational goals.
  • Communicate technical findings clearly to diverse audiences through presentations, written reports, and stakeholder briefings.
  • Stay current with advancements in analytics methodologies to support evolving mission objectives.
  • Support internal collaboration, mentoring, and cross-functional coordination across analytical workstreams.


Qualifications

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Data Engineering, Data Science, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field.
  • 7+ years of professional experience in data science or analytics roles.
  • Proficiency in tools such as R, Python, SQL, JavaScript, and Microsoft Office Suite.


Preferred:

  • Master’s degree in a related field.
  • Experience in military operations, technology, or federal program/project management.


Clearance:

  • Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required).


Additional Details

  • No supervisory duties.
  • Physical requirements include prolonged desk work and occasional lifting up to 15 pounds.
  • Must reside within commuting distance of Scott AFB, IL.
