Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Flagstaff Bible Church in Flagstaff, AZ as they search for their next Director of Worship. Flagstaff Bible Church is a gospel-centered, non-denominational, elder-led church committed to making disciples who make disciples, with a deep love for God’s Word and authentic, God-honoring worship. The Director of Worship will lead and shape the worship culture, develop teams, and help guide the church into Christ-centered, participatory worship that is rooted in Scripture and not performance-driven.
The ideal candidate will be:
- Deeply in love with Jesus and grounded in the Gospel—not just for others, but personally
- A skilled musical and vocal leader who can thoughtfully lead both in-person and digital environments
- A team builder who can recruit, develop, and shepherd volunteers and future leaders
- Theologically aligned with a reformed-leaning, biblically anchored ministry philosophy
- Energized by a collaborative, multi-role staff culture in a growing church
Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all aspects of the worship ministry
- Plan and execute weekly services and special gatherings in collaboration with staff
- Recruit, develop, and shepherd worship team members and leaders
- Build and maintain a healthy, team-oriented ministry culture
- Oversee and improve digital and online worship presence
- Collaborate with church leadership on service flow and discipleship strategy
- Participate in broader staff responsibilities as part of a collaborative team environment
