Shepherd Staff is honored to be working with Graceway Church in Kansas City, MO as they search for their next Creative Director. Graceway is multi-ethnic, multi-cultural, and multi-generational Church. They are deeply committed to biblical preaching, personal discipleship, and international missions.
The Creative Director leads the creative production process, overseeing the Graceway staff’s production and integration of creative media elements into the Graceway ministry areas. This individual will manage, develop, and inspire the staff to create excellent, attractive, and relevant media products.
Ideal Candidate
An experienced Director with a proven track record. This person is a strong leader, manager, and strategic thinker, comfortable overseeing multiple projects and a team. They understand the creative process and can effectively manage a team of artists, fostering their development and maximizing their potential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the worship team both on and off the stage.
- Serve as creative on-site manager for conferences, events, and services; coordinate with the Pastor and other tech/worship staffers to prepare for the event.
- Produce engaging and attractive media that will enhance all aspects of Graceway ministry.
- Conceptualize ideas for staff, assign projects to the team, and verify deadlines are being met within budget.
Experience and Knowledge Required:
- Bible believing, Spirit-filled follower of Jesus who loves the Church
- Education: A college degree is preferred, or an equivalent combination of education and experience is preferred.
- Minimum of one year of experience in video production or a broadcast environment.
- Working knowledge of live production: audio, lighting, multimedia, music, and staging.
- Minimum of two years of supervisory experience. AND two years of project management experience.
