Your New Role

Our client is a global manufacturer who are seeking an experienced and motivated Buyer to join their large procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services in line with company requirements and budgets. The ideal candidate will have a strong commercial mindset, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to supply chain management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, and reliability
• Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers
• Raise and manage purchase orders in accordance with company procedures
• Monitor supplier performance and resolve any supply issues
• Collaborate with internal departments to understand and fulfil purchasing needs
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and other important data
• Stay up to date with market trends and industry development

Ensuring Your Success

You will have proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement/purchasing role with excellent negotiation and analytical skills. Excellent organizational and time management abilities are a must. Being technically savvy with the ability to pick up complex systems is highly desirable.
