SUMMARY

Our client is seeking a mechanically skilled and computer-savvy Manufacturing Technician to support the mechanical manufacturing and assembly of advanced radar systems at its Orem, Utah facility.

The ideal candidate has strong hands-on mechanical abilities, excellent computer skills, and the ability to follow technical instructions, work with precision, and contribute to the production of high-quality radar equipment. Experience with welding or fabrication is a plus.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

•  Perform mechanical manufacturing, assembly, and integration of radar systems and related components.
• Read and follow work instructions, technical drawings, assembly diagrams, and manufacturing documentation.
• Use computer systems and software to access manufacturing instructions, document work, and track production activities.
• Utilize hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment to assemble and manufacture components.
• Inspect components and completed assemblies to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with specifications.
• Identify mechanical issues, assembly discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe manufacturing work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to meet production schedules and quality standards.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on mechanical skills.
• Strong computer skills, including the ability to navigate software applications, follow digital work instructions, and accurately enter production information.
•  Ability to read, interpret, and follow technical instructions, drawings, and assembly procedures.
• Experience using hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical issues and follow established procedures.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a manufacturing environment.

Preferred Qualifications: 

•  Experience with welding, metal fabrication, or related manufacturing processes.
• Previous experience in mechanical assembly, manufacturing, or production environments.
• Experience with shipping, packaging, and preparing products or equipment for shipment.
• Experience working with precision components, electromechanical assemblies, or electronic equipment.
• Experience in international shipping
• Familiarity with manufacturing quality standards and inspection procedures.
