Our client is seeking two experienced Enterprise Level Business Analyst consultants to assist in their banking transformation projects. Focused on strategic alignment and cross-functional clarity (rather than deep documentation within individual workstreams). The ideal candidate’s skill sets will include Enterprise Level BA experience, strong facilitation and conflict resolution skills, have a deep understanding of banking operations and core systems, be able to see the big picture while managing details across multiple domains and lastly, be comfortable working with executives, PM’s and SME’s etc.

 

Responsibilities:

Cross-Workstream Alignment: Identify and help resolve cross-functional dependencies, overlaps, and gaps across workstreams (e.g., Lending, Treasury, Branch Ops, Digital) to ensure everyone is working together, understands the same rules, and creates solutions that fit well with each other instead of each team doing their own thing in silos.


Process Clarification & Conflict Resolution: Step in when there’s confusion or disagreement about how a process is currently working or should work post-conversion and help facilitate discussions, document current vs. future state, and drive consensus across stakeholders.


Strategic Requirements Oversight: Ensure that high-level business requirements are consistently interpreted and implemented across systems and teams and validate the program has a master requirements register, trace dependencies, and flag inconsistencies.


Risk Identification & Mitigation: Spot risks that emerge from misaligned processes, unclear ownership, or conflicting requirements and document “if…then” risk scenarios, propose mitigation strategies, and escalate systemic issues.


Testing Strategy Support: Support UAT and mock conversions to ensure end-to-end scenarios that span multiple workstreams, assist validating test cases reflect expected outcomes.


Executive & PMO Support: Provide strategic insights for status reports, milestone tracking, and executive communications and help articulate “Path to Green” narratives, summarize cross-workstream impacts, and support decision-making.

 

Additional Responsibilities and Information:

  • Reviews, analyzes and evaluates business processes, procedures and user needs
  • Provides data analysis to support, compile and report key information for operations and business objectives
  • Responsible to drive processes and improvement initiatives by gathering and documenting business requirements
  • Performs and participates in the analysis, design and implementation of business processes and procedures following appropriate standards
  • Analyzes and interprets data to identify trends, patterns and opportunities for the business and clients
  • Communicate analysis and interpretation to appropriate audience
  • Produces, publishes and distributes operational reports relating to the development and performance of products and processes
  • Conducts tests or test planning sessions, provides input for feasibility and prepares user documentation and follow-up evaluation
  • Acts as a liaison with various departments, management and staff to resolve problems and improve processes and procedures
  • Performs project management leadership functions as a project manager or team member
  • Other duties as assigned.

 

Qualifications:

  • 7-10 years of experience as a Business Analyst, primarily at the Enterprise Level in Banking/Finance
  • Possess a deep understanding of banking operations, core systems and essential functions
  • Experience identifying interdependent processes, gaps and overlaps and creating streamlined solutions, guidelines, and frameworks that ensure wide spread acceptance and cohesion
  • Demonstrated ability to be detail oriented, organized, and manage details across multiple domains while maintaining the big picture perspective
  • Strong communication, facilitation and conflict resolution skills, ability to liaise with various departments, teams, staff and management including executives, PM’s, SME’s and others
