Job Description:

Performs advanced (senior-level) computer programming in an IMS/application mainframe environment. Work involves overseeing programming projects, analyzing proposed applications, and designing software solutions. Works under minimal supervision, with considerable latitude for initiative and independent judgment.

Required Skills:

5 Years Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent related work experience
• Detailed knowledge of developing and maintaining IMS/application mainframe applications
• CICS/BMS experience
• Experience in COBOL, CICS, JCL, REXX, ISPF, File-Aid or a similar product

Preferred Experience:

• 5+ years hands-on with Mark IV
• 5+ years ISPF and other IBM utilities
• 5+ years with File Aid
• 3+ years with Expediter
• 3+ years with JCL
• 3+ years IMS and VSAM
• 3+ years reading code, understanding business rules, and modifying programs based on user requirements
