Summary

We are seeking a proactive, self-motivated, and detail-oriented Intranet Migration Content Coordinator for a focused 3-month project. In this role, you will play a critical part in our corporate intranet migration initiative, assisting in the transition of high-value internal content from our legacy platform to SharePoint Online.

You will work closely with the Corporate Communications team, the SharePoint technical team, and key business partners and content owners across the organization. The ideal candidate has excellent digital organization skills, a strong understanding of how corporate intranets function, and the critical thinking skills necessary to ensure our new portal is polished, professional, and user-friendly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Content Migration & Entry: Systematically migrate articles, documents, guides, and other internal communications assets from the legacy platform to SharePoint Online
  • Content Formatting & Styling: Ensure all migrated content is cleanly formatted, visually appealing, and aligned with CB&T’s internal brand standards and styling guidelines
  • Quality Assurance & Audit: Review migrated pages to verify layout integrity, identify and repair broken hyperlinks, and ensure correct document attachments
  • Information Architecture & Organization: Assist in organizing content intuitively within the new SharePoint structure to optimize searchability and user experience
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner actively with the Corporate Communications team, the SharePoint IT team, and departmental content owners across CB&T to gather requirements, clarify content updates, and secure approvals
  • Critical Problem Solving: Analyze existing content layout and structure critically, asking clarifying questions to improve overall quality rather than just copying and pasting blindly

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong Computer Literacy: Highly proficient with standard digital tools, content management systems, and the Microsoft 365 suite
  • Understanding of Corporate Intranets: Prior exposure to or experience working with internal company portals, document management systems, or corporate communications channels
  • Exceptional Attention to Detail: A keen eye for layout consistency, spelling, formatting errors, and broken links
  • Self-Motivated & Independent: Proven ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and drive a project forward with minimal supervision
  • Collaborative Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively collaborate with various internal business partners and technical teams
  • Critical Thinking: Ability to evaluate content placement, spot potential formatting or logical gaps, and proactively ask questions to resolve ambiguities

Preferred Qualifications

  • SharePoint Online Experience: Prior hands-on experience building pages, managing libraries, or configuring content within SharePoint Online is highly desirable
  • Background in Communications or IT: Experience or coursework in Corporate Communications or Technical Writing is a plus
