NJ Warehouse Associate
Position Overview:
Our Warehouse Associate is responsible for supporting Construction Dept. and Warehouse Management. Job responsibilities include warehousing, the pulling and staging of materials, inventory control, receiving shipments/orders, maintaining an organized warehouse, the loading of installation trucks and driving.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Picks and stages jobs for all field staff (Install, Service, Site Surveyor)
- Replenish picking locations, when needed
- Accurately stages materials and documentation for job
- Load all trucks daily with required materials for the assigned project
- Inventory Control
- Receive inventory deliveries and check for accuracy
- Maintain adequate inventory levels in the warehouse
- Conduct daily cycle counts and Updating inventory count and maintaining inventory records
- Reporting discrepancies in inventory
- Maintenance of warehouse & office areas
- Ensures that all area inside and outside of building is clean and organized
- Support Warehouse Manager with any warehouse related administrative duties including,
- Fleet Management
- Receiving/shipping
- Data entry
- Transports materials and equipment to project sites, when needed
- Delivers emergency material NY warehouse, when needed
Qualifications & Requirements:
- 1+ years experience in a warehouse
- Ability to operate forklift
- Comfortably able to lift 50lbs
- Proficient knowledge of warehouse procedure and policy
- Must be organized & able to multi-task and set priorities
- Clear verbal and written communication
- Proficient with computers
- Must possess valid Driver's License, and meet requirements of company insurance carrier
- Positive, team mentality
- Comfortable driving to Tri-State Area and NJ
