Sr. Sales Consultant
Compensation: $125K-$200K per/year
Job Type: Full-time, In-person.
At NY State Solar, we design, build, and install high-quality solar energy systems across New York. Our mission is to deliver exceptional customer experiences while helping communities transition to economically and environmentally sustainable energy solutions.
A Sr Sales Representative will serve as an in-home consultant, educating and guiding local homeowners interested in going solar, while acting as a trusted partner and liaison throughout the entire process.
Key Responsibilities:
- Educate homeowners on available solar programs and gather the necessary documents for proposal preparation
- Follow up on self-generated leads and guide projects through to contract signing
- Demonstrate a commitment to personal development and continuous learning
- Collaborate with team members—and enjoy the process!
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 2 years of in-home sales experience required
- Strong communication and active listening skills
- Proficient with technology, including CRM systems (Salesforce) and communication platforms such as email, Chatter, and WhatsApp
- Comfortable discussing financial details and tax implications with homeowners
- High energy, sense of urgency, and the ability to think quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
