Inside Sales Representative

Compensation: $55K-$70K per year

Job Type: Full-Time and In-person.


NY State Solar sells, designs, and builds quality solar systems in the New York City metropolitan area! Our focus is to provide an outstanding customer experience and deliver a high quality PV system. Dedicated to helping New York become economically and environmentally sustainable.


A Inside Sales Representative will generate new business and convert leads into sales. Working with existing customers and generating leads through cold calling, email campaigns and other methods. Inside sales representatives should have excellent communication skills, be persuasive and goal-oriented, and be able to multitask and prioritize.


Duties and Responsibilities for our Inside Sales Team:

  • Become familiar with essential details of our products and services.
  • Educating clients about solar benefits to generate sales appointments. 
  • Tasks include handling calls from interested clients, addressing basic inquiries, and scheduling consultations with sales reps. 
  • Detailed notes/logs are kept throughout the day using CRM software - Salesforce 
  • Collaborating with other teams to enhance the overall customer sales experience.


Inside Sales Team Requirements:

  • 1+ years of experience with Inside Sales 
  • Computer skills
  • Excellent communication
  • Problem-solving capabilities
  • Availability for evening and weekend shifts
