Solar Service Technician

Compensation: $21-$25 per/hour

Job Type: Full-time, In-person.

A Solar Service Technician will ensure the performance and maintenance of solar energy systems, with expertise in electrical systems, troubleshooting, and field service.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine maintenance and troubleshooting of solar energy systems.
• Perform repairs and replacements of faulty components, including string downs and panels.
• Diagnose and rectify electrical issues within solar installations.
• Collaborate with the installation team to ensure new projects meet quality standards.
• Complete service reports and maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.
• Provide on-site training and support to customers as needed.
• Stay updated on industry trends and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Experience in solar field service, maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Basic electrical knowledge and ability to share insights
• Comfortable working on pitched rooftops
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Works well independently and in a team
• Effective communicator with customers and crew
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Must be comfortable with heights and all weather conditions
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs
