Our client is a renowned dining cafe/restaurant recognised for fantastic, fresh seasonal food in a stunning location with picturesque views. Recently refurbished, this highly successful business is seeking a skilled and motivated Chef de Partie to join their team.

As a Chef de Partie, you will be responsible for maintaining the high standards of their kitchen, contributing your expertise in running different sections, and collaborating closely with the chef team. This role offers a competitive salary structure with a basic pay of £27,000 and up to approximately £34,000 through service charges. Looking for work life balance? This is it, only two evenings to work per week, the rest of the time you'll be finished by 4pm!

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook dishes to a high standard while adhering to their chef standards and specifications.
• Assume responsibility for a specific section in the kitchen, ensuring the timely preparation and delivery of food orders.
• Collaborate effectively with the team, promoting a enjoyable and efficient work environment.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen to meet health and safety standards.
• Maintain stock levels and assist in inventory management, helping to order supplies as needed.
• Uphold food safety and hygiene practices and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
• Be adaptable and willing to assist in different sections as required, fostering teamwork and flexibility.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Chef de Partie or similar chef role.
• Strong chef skills with a passion for creating exceptional dishes.
• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations.
• Enthusiasm for learning and developing chef techniques.
• Flexibility to work daytime hours, typically finishing by 4pm during the week, with later hours only on Fridays and Saturdays (approximately 9pm).
• Experience in a high-quality restaurant or hospitality setting is a plus.
