A great opportunity for an Assistant Manager to become part of a highly renowoned small boutique hotel/pub located 20 mins north of York.

As Assistant Manager, you’ll be supporting the General Manager and Owner in the everyday operations of running this highly successful and busy business. You'll be able to work both behind the bar and on the floor ideally, although the role is flexible so you can work to your strengths. The business has a great team that all work hard for each other. There is an excellent working environment and atmosphere which makes it an enjoyable place to work.

Duties:

• Takings food and drink orders
• Liaising with front of house and the kitchen to ensure operations run smoothly
• Working behind the bar
• Opening and closing occasionally
• Working well as part of a team
• Working alone occasionally
• Taking to turns to do opens and closes
• Continuing to build great customer relations

About the role:

• 45 hours per week
• Varied and flexible shifts
• Previous experience needed
• Working with and supporting the General Manager & Owner
• Giving excellent customer service



Salary & Benefits:

• £12.50 ph upwards, depending on experience
