Compensation : $100,000 to $150,000 Annually + Bonus Incentives

The Client

The client is a rapidly growing vehicle service contract provider focused on delivering exceptional coverage and customer service to drivers nationwide. As the company continues to scale its marketing efforts, they are making a significant investment in paid media and customer acquisition. 


They are seeking a highly experienced Paid Social Media Advertising Manager to help build and lead their paid social advertising function.


The Role

Build and scale the company’s outbound lifecycle marketing engine from the ground up. 


This role will own and execute high-performance marketing campaigns across email, SMS, promotions, and lead retargeting, with a primary focus on revenue generation through direct-response marketing, not brand awareness. 


This is a scratch-built role, meaning the ideal candidate must be comfortable creating systems, workflows, and campaign infrastructure from zero while operating in a high-volume, performance-driven environment.


Core Focus Areas 

The CRM & Retention Marketing Manager will be responsible for: 

  • Email marketing campaigns (promotional + lifecycle) 
  • SMS/text message marketing campaigns 
  • Customer promotions and retention offers 
  • Reactivation and win-back campaigns 
  • Outbound lead marketing to existing databases 
  • Purchasing and managing large email/lead lists 
  • Vendor coordination for data acquisition and list sourcing 
  • Campaign testing, optimization, and revenue performance tracking


Key Responsibilities

  • Email Marketing & Promotions 
  • Build, schedule, and execute large-scale email campaigns 
  • Design promotional sequences, lifecycle flows, and retention campaigns 
  • Optimize open rates, CTR, and conversion performance 
  • Run structured A/B testing across: 
  • Subject lines 
  • Creative direction 
  • Copywriting 
  • Offers and incentives 
  • Send timing 
  • Develop automated drip campaigns and follow-up sequences from scratch 


  • SMS / Text Marketing & Retargeting 
  • Build and manage SMS marketing infrastructure and campaigns 
  • Execute promotional blasts and customer reactivation campaigns 
  • Improve conversion and retention through SMS engagement strategies 
  • Ensure compliance with opt-in standards and messaging regulations 


  • Lead Management & Retargeting 
  • Own outbound marketing to existing leads and customer databases 
  • Manage promotional blasts, upsell campaigns, and reactivation funnels 
  • Acquire and manage third-party email/lead lists through vendors 
  • Maintain and structure CRM data for campaign execution 
  • Collaborate with sales leadership to maximize lead-to-conversion efficiency 
  • Continuously test messaging, timing, and offers for performance gains 


  • Deliverability & Campaign Operations 
  • Monitor email deliverability and sender reputation 
  • Maintain inbox placement standards and list hygiene 
  • Manage unsubscribe rates and compliance metrics 
  • Support domain warming and email infrastructure setup 
  • Ensure optimal sending practices across all channels 


  • Analytics & Reporting 
  • Track and report on: 
  • Campaign performance 
  • Conversion rates 
  • Response rates 
  • Retention metrics 
  • ROI by campaign and channel 
  • Use data-driven insights to continuously improve performance 
  • Provide actionable recommendations to leadership


Required Qualifications

  • 3+ years experience in:
  • Email marketing
  • SMS marketing
  • CRM / lifecycle marketing
  • Lead generation or direct-response marketing
  • Proven experience running high-volume outbound campaigns.
  • Strong understanding of:
  • Email deliverability best practices
  • SMS marketing systems and compliance
  • List segmentation and management
  • Campaign optimization strategies
  • Highly organized, execution-driven, and comfortable working in fast-paced environments.
