Compensation: $55,000 to $90,000 Annually DOE + Benefits

The Mission (aka The Role)

The Video Producer and AI Content Editor is a hands-on creative role focused on video strategy, production, AI-powered editing, and rapid content execution across channels. This role functions as a modern producer—someone who can translate business goals and raw ideas into actionable direction and tangible assets to enable video resources to create polished, high-performing video and digital content using emerging AI tools.


This position emphasizes strategy as well as doing: producing short-form videos with online tools, assembling visual narratives, enhancing content with AI, and supporting web and campaign copy through AI-assisted refinement. The role complements existing scriptwriting and creative strategy resources rather than replacing them.


The candidate may be based in any of the following US states: AL, AZ, CA, CO, FL, GA, IL, IN, KS, KY, MI, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NV, NY, OH, TN, TX, UT, VA, WA, and WI.


Mission Objectives (Essential Functions)

  • Video Strategy and Execution
  • Partner with creative and cross-functional teams to translate campaign goals into effective video formats and concepts.
  • Provide direction and feedback to the video editing team to create and refine videos.
  • Help determine the right video approach by channel (social, paid media, web, email, landing pages).
  • Plan video structure, pacing, and visual flow to maximize engagement and performance.
  • Use AI tools to rapidly prototype video concepts, variations, and treatments before full production.
  • Optimize videos for different lengths, placements, and audience segments.
  • Ensure video output aligns with brand standards, messaging hierarchy, and conversion goals.
  • Video Production and AI-Enhanced Editing
  • Assist with the production, assembly, and refining of short-form video content for social media, paid media, websites, and campaigns.
  • Use AI video and audio tools (Runway, Pika, Sora, Descript, ElevenLabs, etc.) to:
  • Generate b-roll, motion elements, transitions, and visual enhancements.
  • Clean up audio, generate voiceovers, or enhance narration.
  • Rapidly prototype and iterate video concepts.
  • Ability to build the creative assets or oversee the production of creative assets in Adobe Creative Suite for use in video content.
  • Edit and adapt existing footage into multiple formats, lengths, and placements.
  • Act as a producer and contributor, ensuring content moves efficiently from idea to asset to distribution. 
  • Creative Assembly and Story Execution
  • Translate approved scripts, outlines, or creative direction into compelling video executions.
  • Collaborate closely with scriptwriters, strategists, and designers to bring ideas to life visually.
  • Help build story flow, pacing, and visual rhythm.
  • Support the video team with AI-generated assets, rough cuts, references, and production-ready components.
  • Creative Enablement and Innovation
  • Experiment with and evaluate new AI tools for video, audio, visuals, and content workflows.
  • Document repeatable processes, prompts, and templates to improve speed and consistency.
  • Recommend workflow improvements that help the team ship more content faster. 
  • Collaboration and Production Support
  • Work cross-functionally with video, design, and marketing teams to support campaigns.
  • Help manage creative throughput by removing bottlenecks between concept and execution.
  • Serve as a reliable execution partner who can take direction and run with it.
  • AI-Supported Content Development (lower priority)
  • Use AI tools to edit, optimize, and enhance web copy, landing pages, and campaign content.
  • Adapt existing messaging for different channels, audiences, and formats.
  • Assist with content QA to ensure clarity, consistency, brand alignment, and conversion best practices.
  • Help scale content output by leveraging AI for variations—not original long-form authorship.


Your Space Suit Specs (Requirements and Qualifications)

  • Experience in video production, content editing, or creative production roles.
  • Strong working knowledge of AI tools for video, audio, and visual content creation.
  • Comfort operating as a producer.
  • Ability to work from existing scripts, concepts, and brand frameworks.
  • Strong attention to detail, pacing, and visual storytelling.
  • Bonus: Basic motion design, compositing, or AI-generated visual experience.
  • Bonus: Familiarity with social-first video formats and performance-driven content.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in an autonomous, remote-first environment.
  • Curiosity and a drive to innovate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative problem-solving and adaptability in a fast-changing environment.
