Compensation: $875 to $1,100 Monthly

The Mission (aka The Role)

We’re looking for a detail-oriented learning professional to support our training team. The role will be responsible for creating and updating learning management system (LMS) courses and training materials using adult learning theories, interactive elements, and our brand style guide. You’ll be responsible for ensuring our LMS and reporting are accurate, refreshing outdated courses and process documentation, and keeping our agency’s team members on top of their course assignments. Other responsibilities include drafting and updating training plans and standard operating procedures, as well as conducting learning and development administrative work and training meetings.


Mission Objectives (Essential Functions)

LMS Management

  • Data entry for updating, adding, and removing users and courses.
  • Crafting engaging LMS courses using our brand style, guidelines for training, adult learning theory, and the materials provided by subject matter experts.
  • Reviewing feedback forms provided on each course to ensure feedback is implemented and/or passed along to the instructors and learning and development leadership.

 

Training Materials

  • Creating and updating PowerPoint presentations using our brand style, guidelines for training, adult learning theory, and the materials provided by subject matter experts.
  • Creating and updating training plan templates and onboarding documents.
  • Collaborating with members of the learning and development team and subject matter experts on learning initiatives and developing course content.


Reporting

  • Supporting and conducting needs analyses that inform course and training contents.
  • Auditing our LMS courses, users, and learning progress to ensure accuracy in our reporting.
  • Reviewing feedback forms and sharing reports with instructors and learning and development leadership.

 

Administrative Tasks for Learning and Development

  • Support maintaining data hygiene of our project management trackers.
  • Onboarding, offboarding, extended leave, and position change tasks.
  • Creating and updating Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for the organization using our brand style and the materials provided by subject matter experts.
  • Maintaining organization in SharePoint of SOPs and training resources, including archiving materials that become irrelevant.


Your Space Suit Specs (Requirements and Qualifications)

  • 5+ years of experience in talent and learning development, ideally within a marketing or agency environment.
  • Strong understanding of learning management systems, project management platforms, integrations, and automations.
  • Preferred experience with TalentLMS, Monday.com, and the Microsoft Office Suite, including SharePoint.
  • Proficient in adult learning theory and emerging learning and development trends to enhance training experiences for the modern workplace.
  • Experience creating engaging courses and training plans.
  • Excellent communication skills: proactive, detailed, and solutions-oriented.
  • Ability to prioritize and manage multiple simultaneous deadlines.
  • Collaborative spirit and ability to thrive in an autonomous, remote-first environment.
  • Curiosity and a drive to innovate.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
