We are a remote-first company with offices in San Diego, CA, Colorado Springs, CO, Columbus, OH, Farmington, UT, and Columbia, MO.


The Role

We are looking for an experienced Billing Specialist to join our team and support the management of our accounting operations.


Responsibilities

Billing and Accounts

  • Assist with the dual process for monthly customer invoicing for a cost center.
  • Enter and maintain new customer information in the accounting system.
  • Communicate directly with clients to assist with billing questions and concerns.


Financial Operations

  • Assist with month-end close activities.
  • Support audits, filing, and other compliance requirements.
  • Manage assigned ad hoc projects as needed.


Process Improvement

  • Identify and recommend opportunities for increased efficiency within the accounting department.
  • Contribute to the development of improved workflows and systems.


Qualifications

  • Experience with Sage Intacct, HubSpot, Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams), Paylocity, Zoom, and Monday.com.
  • Exceptional attention to detail in both technical tasks and written communication.
  • Ability to thrive and perform in a virtual/remote environment.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a collaborative team focus.
  • Analytical, structured thinker with proven problem-solving skills.
  • Service- and results-oriented, with a drive to improve efficiencies.
  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to multitask with minimal supervision.
