Compensation: $65,000 to $70,000 Annually + Annual Performance-Based Bonus + Benefits

We work with highly skilled marketing, digital marketing, and sales professionals and match them with our clients from diverse industries across the United States. Our selection process incorporates comprehensive resume screening, shortlisting, conducting video-recorded interviews and providing client information, administering written assessments (if required by the client), arranging client interviews, and facilitating job offers and placements.


The Client

The client is a successful, reputable, and profitable multimedia company looking to grow and expand their digital marketing division.


The Role

As the Email Marketing and Content Strategist, you will own the planning, execution, and optimization of email marketing campaigns and content strategy. Your role blends creative storytelling with data-driven decision-making to engage audiences, drive traffic, and increase conversions.


Key Responsibilities


Email Marketing

  • Plan and execute email campaigns, including newsletters, drip sequences, promotions, and behavioral automation.
  • Build and manage customer journeys using platforms like Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or ActiveCampaign.
  • Segment email lists to personalize messaging and improve engagement.
  • A/B test subject lines, CTAs, layouts, and content to increase open and conversion rates.
  • Monitor campaign metrics (open, click-through, unsubscribe, conversions) and optimize based on performance.


Content Strategy

  • Develop and manage a content calendar aligned with overall marketing goals and customer lifecycle stages.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to craft blog posts, landing page content, lead magnets, and social media copy.
  • Ensure consistency in brand voice, tone, and style across all touchpoints.
  • Conduct audience and keyword research to inform content themes and improve SEO performance.
  • Measure content performance and adjust strategies to improve reach, engagement, and conversion.


Qualifications

  • 3–5 years of experience in email marketing, content strategy, or digital communications.
  • Proven experience with email marketing platforms (Klaviyo, HubSpot, Mailchimp, or similar).
  • Solid understanding of content marketing strategy, email performance metrics, and conversion optimization.
  • Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills with a portfolio of past content/email work.
  • Experience using tools like Google Analytics, GA4, Looker Studio, or SEMrush.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong collaboration skills and attention to detail.


Preferred (nice to have)

  • Experience in e-commerce, SaaS, healthcare, or B2B environments.
  • Familiarity with SEO best practices and keyword optimization.
  • Basic design skills using Canva, Figma, or Adobe tools.
  • Working knowledge of HTML/CSS for email formatting and troubleshooting.
