The Role
The SEO Support Channel Specialist is responsible for the execution of organic search strategies for individual clients of the agency. As a front-line team member, they actively engage in search optimization on a daily basis to drive the necessary performance results for their clients. Their attendance and participation in internal sprint meetings and strategy sessions supports the Lead Channel Specialist in crafting ideal client work plans. The SEO Support Channel Specialist also prioritizes the most critical tasks, finding efficiencies through automation and delegation to deliver their best work.

Performance Objectives
- Execute the agency’s playbook for the particular client industry.
- Ensure account execution follows company First Principles methodology.
- Analyze performance data for monthly and quarterly reporting.
- Execute SEO tasks within the weekly sprint planning framework.
- Make updates to websites through CMS’ or direct code injection.
- Work with design and editing partners to ensure marketing campaigns are using the most compelling content creative.
- Execute regular technical SEO health checks for web properties to ensure site compliance.
- Implement and confirm conversion tracking to support reporting and measurement needs.
- Attend internal virtual client meetings for context and clarity of tasks.
- Execute audits of client and prospect accounts using the provided framework to harvest opportunities for growth.
- Work with generative AI to develop search-friendly content for client websites.
- Execute research to support marketing initiatives and direction.

- Using SEO software such as Google Analytics, Google Business Profile, Screaming Frog, SEMRush, and Ahrefs.
- Reporting against defined performance metrics.
Education and Experience
- 2-4 years working in professional services organizations.
- 2+ years professional experience in SEO.
- Prior agency experience is a strong plus.
