The Client
The client is a fast-growing owner and operator of popular topical websites and is now seeking a Paid Search Director for its online properties and future websites in various verticals. Come work with a dynamic team of writers, editors, and developers at an elite remote workplace. As a Paid Search Director, you will be responsible for building and maintaining a large ad spend across various product comparison websites of various verticals including:
- Credit Cards
- Personal Finance (credit repair, loans, and debt relief)
- Web Hosting
- Dating Websites and Apps
The Role
The ideal candidate will be passionate about digital marketing, possess a deep understanding of PPC and SEM strategies, and have a proven track record of optimizing campaigns to achieve objectives for product comparison websites.
Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and optimize PPC campaigns with a $500k+ ad spend across various platforms such as Google Ads, Bing Ads, and potentially social media channels.
- Extensive experience with landing page conversions and maximizing Quality Score in highly competitive verticals.
- Conduct keyword and competitor research and analysis to identify high-performing keywords and opportunities for growth.
- Create compelling ad copy and landing pages that drive engagement, conversions and Quality Score.
- Monitor campaign performance and make data-driven decisions to improve ROI and achieve KPIs.
- Perform A/B testing and experiment with different ad formats, targeting options, and bidding strategies.
- Stay up to date with industry trends and best practices to continuously improve campaign performance.
- Collaborate with internal teams to align PPC and SEM strategies with overall marketing objectives.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience overall and at least 5-7 years in comparison sites.
- In-depth experience with PPC for product comparison websites.
- Proven track record of managing successful PPC campaigns and achieving measurable results.
- Expertise in Google Ads, Bing Ads, and other PPC platforms.
- Strong analytical skills and proficiency in data analysis tools such as Google Analytics.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Experience with SEO and other digital marketing channels is desirable.
