Content Creation and Execution

- Execute against client content roadmaps and topic maps, producing content that aligns with defined GEO and SEO strategies.
- Apply answer-first structuring, entity optimization, schema-aware formatting, and Q and A frameworks to maximize citation potential in generative engines.
- Use AI-assisted tools to generate, structure, or enhance content while maintaining high editorial standards, factual accuracy, and brand voice.
- Develop content that is specific, well-cited, and data-rich, as these are the signals generative engines reward most.
Content Editing and Optimization
- Edit and refine existing content for clarity, authority signals, credibility, and factual accuracy.
- Optimize legacy content to improve visibility in AI-generated responses, including AI Overviews, Perplexity citations, and ChatGPT summaries.
- Ensure consistency in tone, voice, and messaging across all deliverables.
- Maintain editorial standards and evolving GEO best practices across the content team.
Client Strategy and Collaboration
- Partner with GEO Strategists to execute client topic maps, content roadmaps, and visibility strategies.
- Support Account Managers and cross-service teams in strategic client discussions, contributing content insights where relevant (e.g., QBRs, strategy calls, reporting discussions).
- Respond professionally to client feedback and attend client calls occasionally as needed to represent content decisions clearly and professionally.
Performance and Innovation
- Monitor the performance of your content through AI citation rate, share of voice in AI responses, and referral traffic from AI platforms.
- Utilize SEO and AI search platforms, including SEMrush, Ahrefs, Profound, and Google Search Console, to inform content decisions and track GEO performance.
- Maintain a working knowledge of how LLMs function, relevant KPIs, and content-related GEO best practices.
- Develop a general awareness of LLM concepts such as vector embeddings, RAG, and grounding, with a genuine interest in learning how to apply them in content work.
- Stay current on industry changes related to GEO/AEO/AIO and the future of organic visibility.
- Contribute to internal knowledge sharing, GEO best practice documentation, and service refinement initiatives.
