Location: FL, IL, ID, WA, HI, CT, NJ, Remote (hybrid preferred if near the NJ office)

Restriction: This opportunity is for candidates residing in the selected US locations listed above

Compensation: $85,000 to $110,000 Annually + Benefits

The Role

The client is seeking a highly motivated Amazon Account Manager for their Amazon Sales Team. The primary focus of this role is end-to-end Amazon Advertising account management and performance reporting. In addition to other team members, the role will also support day-to-day operations of the Amazon Retail account as needed. This role will require a strong understanding of data analytics, the ability to understand data/trends to make informed decisions, and a strong ability to articulate performance to influence the strategic direction of the investments. They are searching for someone with a good business acumen/instinct who is looking to deliver big results in the retail space. This person thrives in small teams where everyone is a significant contributor and is someone who can operate in a proactive fashion or an ambiguous environment.


Core Responsibilities

  • End-to-end ownership of Amazon Advertising campaigns—specifically Sponsored Products, Brands, Display, and DSP. Including campaign creation, reporting, optimization, and exit strategies.
  • Delivering growth and efficiency results with Amazon Advertising, tracked via KPIs (including TACoS, ROAS, CVR, New-to-Brand, and more).
  • Own advertising spend/investment pacing and reporting, ensuring that they are aligned with the monthly budget.
  • Define, identify, and implement customer acquisition strategies, including evaluation of market share and competition.
  • Single point owner for the selection and optimization of assets used in advertising campaigns to ensure the best customer experience.
  • Continuous exploration and testing of new growth tactics via campaign strategies, bringing forward best-in-class practices, new industry insights, and anticipation of competitor or algorithm/platform changes.
  • Collaborates and leads calls with Amazon Retail, Amazon Advertising, and 3rd Party Agencies, ensuring that they are delivering on high-impact workstreams with external partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Brand, Creative, Operations, and Finance teams to drive growth and execute business priorities.


Additional Responsibilities

  • Owns, innovates, and delivers weekly and monthly reports and insights.
  • Troubleshoot listing issues, conversion, and Buy Box challenges with high urgency and precision.
  • Amazon catalog and listing management, including SEO optimization.
  • Act as a primary technical lead and trusted advisor to the e-commerce sales team and internal teams.
  • Analyze ASIN-level performance and deliver actionable insights to the Amazon Channel Lead.


Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; high school diploma/GED required.
  • Experience working with Amazon.com (1P and 3P) is required.
  • Minimum 5+ years working within the Amazon Advertising portal, with proven experience of understanding and executing against an Amazon sales strategy.
  • Experience as a single-point owner or manager of multi-million dollar investments/deployments.
  • Minimum of 5+ years of working in consumer goods or retail markets.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of analytical tools and dashboards with proficiency specifically in Excel.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to clearly communicate how your actions are delivering against a business plan or company’s strategic direction.
  • Proven track record of problem-solving capabilities, including solution finding and execution.
  • Proactive self-starter who can work with ambiguity to deliver results.

 

Work Schedule Options

  • Remote work option available with the requirement of being on-site at HQ in New Brunswick, NJ, quarterly and for mandatory meetings as announced.
  • Hybrid work schedule for individuals that reside within a 40-mile radius of New Brunswick, NJ, with 3 days onsite/2 days remote.
