Royall has been engaged by an industry-leading Creative Communications & Event Agency in the West Midlands to headhunt a heavyweight Senior Event Project Manager. This isn't just a delivery role; it’s a leadership position within a high-growth agency that treats "human-first" communication as the core of every event.


The Flexibility Shift: To ensure we attract the very best agency talent, our client has moved to a highly flexible 1–2 day office-based week. You’ll work from their stunning, converted rural office hub near Stourbridge for collaboration and culture, with the autonomy to manage your portfolio from home the rest of the week.


What’s Different About This Role?

You won't just be managing events; you’ll be steering strategies. You’ll have full P&L accountability for high-budget, large-scale portfolios across live events, film projects, and digital activations.

Crucially, you will work directly with the Client Services Director to lead Content Development—facilitating creative meetings that turn dry corporate messaging into emotionally engaging live experiences.


The Candidate DNA:

  • Agency Pedigree: 4–5+ years of experience within an Event, Creative, or Internal Comms Agency. You know how to juggle multiple high-stakes clients without breaking a sweat.
  • Large-Scale Mastery: You are comfortable holding the reins on high-budget, complex international productions.
  • Strategic Thinker: You understand ROI methodology and how to measure the real-world impact of an event on a global workforce.
  • Leadership Qualities: You have experience (or the clear capability) to line-manage and mentor junior talent, turning AEs into elite PMs.
  • Unflappable Presence: You are a confident presenter who can hold your own in front of senior stakeholders and C-suite clients.
  • The Essentials: Full UK driving license and car (essential for their unique location) and a passport ready for international travel.

What You’ll Do:

  • Full Project Ownership: Manage the end-to-end delivery of high-budget live events, reward & recognition programs, and video/digital campaigns.
  • Content & Strategy: Facilitate creative brainstorms and steer content solutions to ensure they align with the client’s overarching business goals.
  • Financial Control: Full P&L responsibility for your projects, ensuring they remain cash-positive and hit margin targets.
  • Relationship Management: Act as the day-to-day lead for senior client contacts, identifying new opportunities for growth and innovation.
