This is a unique opportunity to own end-to-end project delivery while shaping the future of our clients' event strategies.


What’s Different About This Role?

This is a powerful hybrid role that combines the hands-on operational excellence of a Project Director with the strategic vision of an Account Director. You'll have the autonomy to lead major projects from conception to completion, while also acting as a key strategic partner to your clients. You'll influence their event direction, inspire creative solutions, and play a critical role in both mentoring your team and driving business growth.


What You’ll Bring:

  • Deep Experience: At least 6-7 years of event management experience, ideally in a comprehensive event production agency.
  • Strategic Mindset: Proven ability to engage with C-suite and board-level clients to discuss event content and strategy.
  • Dual Expertise: A strong track record of both managing large-budget, international events and fostering strategic client relationships.
  • Leadership Skills: Extensive line management experience with a passion for mentoring and developing teams.
  • Financial Acumen: Expertise in overseeing project profitability, managing large budgets, and understanding ROI.
  • Mobility: A full UK driving license and car are essential for this role.


What You’ll Do:

  • Lead Project Delivery: Take full ownership of a portfolio of client projects, ensuring flawless execution from start to finish.
  • Develop Client Strategy: Act as a key strategic partner, guiding clients on event direction and developing creative content across all media.
  • Handle Finances: Oversee all project financials, ensuring profitability and accurate costing in line with agreed targets.
  • Drive Quality: Be a champion for operational excellence and best practices, ensuring all deliverables exceed client expectations.
  • Grow the Business: Identify and support new business opportunities and work with leadership to develop strategic client plans.
  • Lead Your Team: Provide strong line management and mentorship to your team, fostering their development and ensuring high performance.
