SUMMARY


Allied Sports is hiring an Account Manager to join our fast-growing team. They are looking for a motivated, dedicated and enthusiastic person to join their team to assist with the day-to-day management of a Partnership Marketing client’s Olympic partnerships. The role also will support the account team and agency business initiatives with industry expertise, idea generation, and development of presentation materials. The ideal candidate thrives in fast-paced environments, brings strong Olympic and sports partnership experience, and consistently delivers thoughtful, polished, and high-impact client work.


RESPONSIBILITIES


  • Lead the day-to-day management of a major technology client and all partnership activities tied to its Olympic portfolio including overall project management (e.g. project plans, timelines, agency integration and deliverables)
  • Develop and lead on sponsorship rights and asset management processes
  • Coordinate and manage activation programming with client functional teams and relevant agency partners in connection with client's sponsorship platforms
  • Provide strategic thinking and POVs for esports sponsorship initiatives. Specific initiatives could include event activation development, talent / influencer strategy, customer engagement, hospitality programming, media integration strategy, etc.
  • Manage client-vendor relationships and coordinate necessary deliverables on behalf of client
  • Provide proactive strategic thinking and recommendations regarding esports space for client and agency at large
  • Manage project budgets and invoicing deadlines
  • Lead key meetings with internal & external constituents
  • Provide support to Director and VP on overarching account management and planning
  • Lead and mentor direct reports



QUALIFICATIONS


  • Client-based account management experience; including partnership marketing, event marketing, creative services, public relations and / or media
  • Prior Olympic sponsorship experience required
  • Project management experience with the ability to manage multiple projects independently and with a larger team
  • Experience with on-site event management, event execution and vendor management 
  • Ability to think strategically and creatively and can problem solve independently
  • Ability to handle precise asset management records, allocation, tracking and reconciliation
  • Exceptional organizational skills
  • Excellent time management, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to travel approximately 25% of the time
  • Proficient in Microsoft suite (in particular PowerPoint, Word, Excel)
  • Able to work weekend, holiday and non-traditional hours, as required

 

COMPENSATION


  • Base Salary Range: $75,000 - $90,000
