SUMMARY

Prodigy Search is seeking a Creative Marketing and Design Co-op that will aid and support the implementation and execution of Prodigy Search’s graphic, digital, social, and website design plans. As a Co-op with Prodigy Search, you will gain a greater understanding of the sports and entertainment industry and how to carry about a marketing plan through different avenues, inclusive of the unique design elements that coincide with our branding.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with graphic design projects, including creating visual content for RFPs, presentations, and marketing decks.
• Utilize Canva, Photoshop, or similar design tools to create visually appealing assets for social media, newsletters, and websites.
• Design and format newsletters using platforms like Constant Contact or similar email marketing tools.
• Support the creation and update of website visuals, ensuring brand consistency and fresh content.
• Develop and implement engaging social media graphics and templates for various platforms.
• Translate ideas (via conversation or written instruction) into design concepts that engage and inspire the audience, maintaining campaign and brand continuity and interactive usability.
• Support social media strategy for Prodigy Search accounts including content creation, posting cadence and general communication.
• Assist in the development of a clear, concise marketing plan to elevate the brand and offerings of Prodigy Search.
• Conduct market research, monitoring industry trends, and best practices.
• Support the marketing team projects that include e-marketing, campaign management, reporting and website needs, including but not limited to SEO strategy and implementation.
• Assist in the daily creation, posting and execution of social media content on all respective social platforms.
• Assist leadership in the development of a brand position and a consistent brand message through all internal and external forms of communication, including digital media and content.
• Assist in the refresh of visual messaging on website and social media platforms.
• Development of social media templates for relevant platforms.
• Assist marketing team with outside publication relationships and digital partnerships on advertising, digital and social advertisements and campaigns.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor’s or graduate degree at an accredited College or University in the areas of Graphic Design, Digital Media, Web Design & Digital Marketing, or other related field (preferred, not required)
• Must possess an interest in and understanding of sports and entertainment landscape
• Understanding of working elements of Google and Microsoft Office suite of products
• Experience with Canva, Survey Monkey, Constant Contact a plus
• Skill to maintain professionalism, discretion, and confidential information.
• Ability to manage and/or create new resources to get projects completed with a strong ability to multi-task and keep organized
• Strong interpersonal skills with ability to effectively communicate and relate to all levels of executives within and outside the organization; must have excellent phone skills
• Ability to work flexible hours, as necessary, during regular Monday thru Friday work week
• Support the social media team with content, graphics, and creation
• Detail oriented; able to proof their own work as well as act as quality control/editor for the work of freelancers, seasonal staff and other full-time employees
• Accept and apply constructive criticism and feedback with multiple rounds of edits required by executive management and ownership of the organization
• Knowledge and understanding of various design products including Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, Photoshop, Illustrator and InDesign.
